Now that we’ve looked at some seasonally appropriate ways to make a statement in terms of warm necks and ears, lets talk about boots. With spring right around the corner (at least we hope so!), and now that it’s finally warm enough to step outside in footwear that’s not lined and fur-rimmed, the real fun can begin.
I first noticed this Fashionista because of her bag as I’m obsessed with a good floral print, but then I saw her amazing boots. She’s rocking some vintage cowboy boots, paired with tall green socks for extra warmth. They’re perfectly worn-in so that they don’t look stiff or uncomfortable, and they definitely add some spunk to her outfit. When matched with a floral bag instead of something studded or suede, she keeps it from looking too over the top Western, and instead somewhat bohemian looking. And of course, a scarf and a warm winter coat are still necessary for the weather, but her chosen accessories keep them looking fresh.
Attempting to buy some cowboy boots for yourself can be overwhelming. They can go for over 500 dollars a pair, and can range heavily in terms of quality and authenticity. I recommend looking around in second hand stores, and hopefully you’ll stumble upon a great pair for an unbeatable price like this Fashionista did.
