It’s winter in Southern California, but that doesn’t mean it’s cold. It’s typical to experience a 65-degree day in January, and it’s not uncommon to head to the local beach and soak up some sun over winter break.
I stumbled upon this Fashionisto on a warm January day as he was getting home from catching some waves. Dressed in a classic Quiksilver flannel and white V-neck, this SoCal surfer had a simple and comfortable style. A white V-neck is a staple that all Fashionistos should have in their wardrobes, as they can pair it with just about anything and maintain a clean, crisp look. Flannels are also very versatile, because they can be worn unbuttoned for a casual look, taken off and tied around the waist when it’s warm or buttoned up for a more traditional look. Flannels and V-necks are always in style!
I was also especially impressed by this Fashionisto’s pants, Gap 1969 five pocket cords in gray. He chose a straight fit that allows more room in the leg for added comfort. Cords are perfect for this time of year because they offer warmth (for those of you not located in southern California) as well as durability. Not to mention, they match with almost everything.
And let’s not forget about his awesome surfboard! Not only is this Fashionisto trending on land, but he’s also trending on water.
