As summer jobs and internships commence, many of us find ourselves lacking appropriate attire or in confusion of how to work the “business look.” For men, it’s the standard business suit. Nowadays, though, we see younger men wanting to do more with their outfits than just blending in with the sea of blue and navy two piece suits. Accessories can give each business look its own character. Whether the extra step is a colorful printed tie, glasses or outerwear, the classic formal suit meets flexible and fun to fit each guy’s personal style.
Grabbing lunch in the Place d’Armes in Luxembourg, the beautifully historic plaza flooded with businessmen on break. With a wide range of fitted suits on display, I’d say the average man was definitely dressing to impress. In an array of fashionably suited men, I found these two Fashionistos exerting more casual and fun approaches to their ensembles.
The Fashionisto on the right wears a light pink dress shirt, a gray two-piece suit with a detailed black collar and a fun striped pink and navy tie. I love the light pink shirt paired with the tie because it brings color and up the gray suit. The Fashionisto on the left is my favorite look because his sleek navy suit and simple black tie complementing the fun graphic scarf. The scarf brings ease and character to an otherwise plain suit. With the addition of the scarf, this Fashionisto emanates personality through his accessories.
