March is supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, right? Well the only lamb-like quality about the end of this March seems to be the soft, white snowflakes falling from the sky. I came across this Fashionisto battling the wintery mix that fell upon Temple on this chilly March day.
His leather jacket was a great choice since the weather couldn’t choose between rain and snow, as the leather material doesn’t absorb water as a cloth material would. Leather jackets have been around for a long time, and I can predict that we’ll be seeing them for a while longer.
Fingerless gloves were a favorite this winter and they’re sticking around until the weather warms up. They are a perfect winter accessory because they keep your hands warm while allowing you to have the freedom to text and do other things you might not be able to do with gloves on. Some gloves are simply fingerless and some come with a mitten-type flap that you can flip back when you want the gloves to have the fingerless advantage, while still having the option to keep them on when you want total hand warmth.
You don’t see many boys walking around in traditional rubber rain boots, but this Fashionisto’s Dr. Martens prove to be a great alternative to beat the rain. The clunky fashion of the boots provides a good contrast to his fitted skinny jeans as well. This Fashionisto continues the black color motif of his outfit with his black and brown backpack. Snag a similar one here.
Hint: Black leather jackets are a classic, but you can also get them in many brighter colors that will look more natural with spring color palettes.
