From head to toe, this Fashionisto’s look stays uniquely urban. Starting from the top (Sorry Drake), we begin with a snapback hat from Snap Goes My Cap, a business owned by this Fashionisto himself, in which he buys and sells one-of-a-kind vintage deadstock snapback hats, as well as other unique, fresh apparel like jackets, pants and shirts. A hat is always a super cool way to cap off an outfit and show personality at the same time.
I believe Ray-Ban sunglasses will always transcend trends. They are a universal and timeless staple to add to your assortment of accessories. This Fashionisto wears a vintage pair of Ray-Ban Cats found in his father’s yesteryear collections. I truly encourage you to look through your parents old clothing hidden away in your attic at home – you may find some of the coolest and most currently trendy additions to bring into your own wardrobe. A pair of sunglasses is just another stylish accessory to make for an even more polished look and protect those eyes, too!
Next, we get a view of none other than my most favorite staple, the denim jacket. A true icon, there is nothing quite like this classic outerwear to transform an outfit. This Fashionisto throws it back yet again with his vintage acid-wash Calvin Klein jacket layered over a super simple Ralph Lauren classic white t-shirt. Brands like H&M and ASOS offer similar, yet more reinvented jackets that help you incorporate some stylish denim into your look.
When wearing a few vintage pieces, it doesn’t hurt to add a trendy item or two to maintain a modern look. This Fashionisto accomplishes just that with a pair of Topman khaki jogger pants put together with a pair of Sperry Top-Siders green camo duck boots to complete the outfit.
Hint: If you would like to dress this look up just a bit but still keep an urban feel, simply switch the denim jacket out for a peacoat like this one from AllSaints.
