Georgia weather. That’s all I have to say about that. It’s almost May and we still get rain and wind, seriously Georgia, where’s our nice and breezy spring weather? Sometimes I wonder if we even have any. Here on campus the fashion statements are at an all time low because students have a constant struggle between studying and dressing nicely or to just dress for the weather. But while most people have low motivation for dressing nicely during finals week, our Fashionisto stands out and shines on campus, and it’s not just his shiny scooter.
Our Fashionisto rocks a light blue button-down that brightens today’s rainy weather. I also advise you to wear bright and fun colors on rainy days because I guarantee you’ll be a lot more cheerful! A light blue shirt is always appropriate and maybe even one of those standard but necessary pieces in your wardrobe. You might not be able to tell in the photo, but he is wearing light pink pants that kind of look white. Our Fashionisto likes to experiment with color, which I admire about him. If you’re not a fan of the pink pants, because of the color or the fact that they’re a little on the pricey side, you can totally go with white pants, either works. But just remember, spring is great for bright colors!
Though our Fashionisto isn’t wearing many accessories, all he needs is a red scooter and some awesomely patterned loafers. I couldn’t find loafers as uniquely patterned as our Fashionisto, but I found some similar to them. You can always find loafers of similar material like this one or similar structure like this one.
Hint: If you don’t have a nice pair of shoes, think about investing in a good pair, and maybe even splurging on a pair that you really like but might be a little pricey. I always say, “quality over quantity!” With spring approaching, it’d be good to have a pair of good shoes that can support you through the ups and downs of this weird weather.
