The temperature is heating up and so should your wardrobe. Bright colors, bold patterns and warm weather are just around the corner. Saddle up for this week’s fashion advice boys; we are going all western this season.
This week’s Fashionisto is rocking a blue and white flannel with some straight leg blue jeans and leather boots. His shirt untucked and gives his outfit that super casual feel. His jeans are fitted, but not too tight. They’re relaxed enough around the leg that it always him to bust out those moves, but also are fitted enough to flatter his physique. This really back his look that much more rugged. His messy bed-head paired with his facial hair emphasizes that casual feel to this Western-esque outfit.
What would make this outfit even more western, is adding more leather accessories. Don’t go full-on 1800s cattle-ranching western, make it a more contemporary western. Pair your flannel with a leather backpack or a simplistic leather bracelet. Little accessories like this will really play up that cowboy style. Additionally, go try out that Canadian tuxedo of yours. Find your inner Justin Timberlake circa 2001 and rock that denim-on-denim look. Make sure to vary the denim washes between your tops and bottoms when you try this trend.
There’s a few things to remember when bringing out your inner cowboy. You can never wear enough leather, denim-on-denim is back and flannels will never go out of style. Mix and match all of these trends and you’ll look like a contemporary cowboy.
Hint: If you really want that western feel, try wearing a red flannel shirt. That’s a classic.
