I’m not sure about you guys, but I am over the cold, the winter and most definitely over trekking around campus in the snow. It’s almost April, where is the sun and the warmer days? But despite the calendar date, the snow is still coming, and in full force at that.
We can’t avoid these harsh winter days, so grab your warmest, stylish pieces. This Fashionisto chose his two-toned puffer vest. No matter how you wear it, this is probably one of the handiest garments that guys have (or should have) in their closet. They are great for layering in the fall and beginning of spring and it even does the job in the middle of a snowstorm like we have here.
This season we have seen a variety of styles of puffer vests from leather shoulder panels to color blocked to bright colored. These vests come in many varieties to choose from, depending on your personal preference and functionality.
What I like about this Fashionisto is that he was able to change up the day-to-day jacket look with a vest. His puffer vest comes with a hood, which I haven’t seen many of. On these snowy days, if your vest doesn’t have a hood, I suggest wearing a sweatshirt with one. If not, a flannel or really anything else works too.
This Fashionisto also sports a pair of Gorilla USA boots. I had never heard of this company before but when I checked out the website they had some pretty cool styles of lace up boots that come in all different shades of brown leather and styles. They have a rugged but fashionable look to them, which I really like. Guys, definitely look into getting a pair of these for next winter!
As we count down the days until spring, the puffer vests will have to do until we can break out some spring style. Stay warm and survive that snow in the most stylish way possible!
Hint: If you want to brighten up a winter day, try a bright colored vest. Not only is it a nice change from your daily winter coat, it adds some pop to your average gray winter day.
