It seems that it was just yesterday that I made my first dive into my college campus and started to figure out how to balance schoolwork, a social life and kick the freshman 15’s sorry butt. It’s about that time of year where professors start cranking the work into full gear; therefore, it is time for students to turn the focus up a couple notches!
The essays, projects and readings are about to get intense, so what are we supposed to do with all the added stress? Instead of getting a sugar rush and packing the pounds, workout! Exercise controls weight, combats health conditions and diseases, improves mood and boosts energy. Therefore, exercise is the perfect source for finding that extra bit of stamina when taking a break from studying or writing a paper. Working out is an opportunity to savor the last of the summer weather, take control of your life, and give the world a little something to look at!
The weather can have a major impact on one’s mood. On a nice day, mix things up and work outside for the ultimate energy booster! This Fashionisto says very few things stand in the way of his daily fitness routine. He stays motivated to work out since exercising gives him the opportunity to do things the way he chooses to allows him to get his mind off things. He says his driving factor in life is that “He is the master of his fate, the captain of his soul.” To be fit and fly, he works out in a fitted Nike shirt, basketball shorts and yellow Reebok sneakers.
Hint: The right fit is key for workout attire. To balance confidence with function, find the fit that doesn’t prevent proper technique or cause restriction of movement. Don’t let clothes be your excuse not to workout! It’s time to relax and get fit because there are seven days in a week and “someday” isn’t one of them.
