We’re getting tired of the cold here in NYC, and we’re all coming down with a case of spring fever. Are you in need of some ways to bring spring trends into your winter wardrobe? Take some style tips from this week’s Fashionisto and transition into spring with prints!
This Fashionisto was brave enough to rock a pair of printed pants. His navy polka-dotted beige chinos caught my attention. He paired them well with a navy cashmere sweater. To stay warm, he layered his sweater over a crisp white button-up, which created a more preppy look. Sometimes prints are too much, but by choosing neutral colors he made sure his outfit wasn’t overbearing. To complete his ensemble, he wore a brown heavy cargo jacket on top and a pair of Cole Haan suede oxfords. His outfit gives off a spring look but the color palette he chose makes the look great for winter!
He also accessorized with a gold Michael Kors watch. Watches are my favorite accessory. I’m always wearing one. If you want to have a more professional look, wear a watch. They’re the perfect accessory and complete any outfit.
Follow in the footsteps of this Fashionisto and you’re sure to achieve polished look.
Hint: Prints can be a little difficult to wear but if done right it is a great trend to try out this spring! Try to always wear a solid that matches a color in the print. You can also try to be daring and mix two prints together.
