The semester is in full swing and might I say that the guys on my campus have really been bringing their Fashionisto A-game. It has been exciting delving into the world of men’s fashion especially in the aspect of street style. There has yet to be a dull moment when I’m on the hunt for a stylish guy. The camouflage pants trend is seems to be one that can transcend from season to season and the Fashionisto I present this week wore it very well. Combining two patterns is no easy task, but with the right pieces it can be done perfectly.
Instead of having to buy new things, you can bring winter pieces to spring, much like this Fashionisto did when he paired his long sleeve button-down with a pair of camouflage pants. The subtle pattern in the top is what gives the outfit and interesting pop. At first glance, the top seems to have plain polka-dots, but upon further examination you can see that it is actually small 3/4 circles of white and sky blue. The nice thing about mixing patterns is that it is subjective and never has to be worn the same way twice. With spirited reds and pretty blues you can be colorful without feeling too bold or out of your comfort zone.
Hint: If you want to achieve a pattern frenzy look just pick two of your favorite patterns and wear them together, be bold and try it…you know you want to!
