There are some things that I absolutely love about colder weather. Though I am now supposed to be an adult and no longer have snow days to look forward to, I can still enjoy my favorite winter activity: pulling a thick warm comforter over myself on chilly winter mornings and sleeping in.
Unfortunately, I must accept that most days aren’t Saturdays — and require me to get out of bed and go to class. Forcing ourselves to go outside and face the frigid outdoors is a little more approachable though when you are equipped with the right cold weather gear.
After the first Ann Arbor snowfall, this Fashionisto looks cozy and warm, yet maintains a sharp appearance. He achieves this through the multiple elements of his outfit, but primarily through his thick wool coat. While peacoats are great fall outerwear, they sometimes are not enough against both East Coast and Midwestern winters alike. This Fashionisto prepares himself with a coat that is thick and goes past his belt line for maximum coverage and warmth. The gray color and simple button embellishments make this coat a very versatile and sharp piece that will work nicely with any outfit.
This Fashionisto also makes some great accessory choices: his choice of leather gloves in particular catches my eye. While the rest of his outfit is fairly casual, his leather gloves give his outfit an edge of sophistication. They add a nice finishing touch to the rest of this great combination.
