It’s that time again, the end of classes and the beginning of the sunshiny summer days! It’s time to move out of our beloved (and messy) houses/ apartments and either move home or into the real world. Of course, as Fashionistas and Fashionistos, we move out in style.
I caught this Fashionisto putting the last few boxes in his car and had to ask him where he got his awesome printed button-down. The shirt is a perfect center piece for an ensemble, with the bright red color and all encompassing pattern. The pattern is somewhat floral when looked at up close, but from far away appears to be just an abstract design. The shirt is made of a light cotton, allowing it to be light enough to be out in the warm sun. The short sleeved button-down look is a classic and is a great way to spice up just a T-shirt and jeans day (especially when you still want to be comfy carrying boxes).
Keeping the shirt as the main focus of the ensemble, this Fashionisto pairs it with a pair of simple blue jeans. The jeans are slim fit and skinny, giving the look a more skater and edgy feel. With the pant, he wears a pair of black and tan canvas Vans. The tan of the soles breaks up the darkness of the pant and shoe, giving them a little bit of a pop. The shoes are comfortable, yet stylish, and work well for walking back and forth from the car to the house.
Make move out day a stylish affair by trading out your comfy sweats for a cool button-down and some easy jeans.
Hint: Try patterned long sleeve button-downs too, the rolled up sleeve look can be just as cool and stylish.
