It seems as though the obsession with mint green that saturated the spring/summer 2012 runways is here to stay. While I am usually one to go for bold, vibrant primary colors, this pastel green ensemble is, in my opinion, the perfect shade of minty fresh.
Be it for a casual night out or brunch with the family, there’s no doubt that a button-down and loafers are a safe bet. But what set this Fashioinisto apart was his paper denim button-down in a pristine summer shade of green. This statement shirt is featured both tucked in and billowing at the waist. The versatility is perfect for a long summer day or cool evening outing.
Taking one step farther away from my love for classic dark denim jeans, I was also interested in this Fashioinisto’s light washed jeans. This stylish student was spotted in distressed light washed denim, a comfortable and casual option for a vacation at the vineyard or a casual Friday getup.
While dressing nice is easy, dressing stylish is a little harder and in this case, it’s all about the accessories. Featured wearing a Vineyard Vines canvas belt and beige Tod’s loafers, this northeast native knows how to make preppy classy and cool. The belt is a perfect icon for every summer season and the loafers an evident addiction of mine.
To top it all off, the watch and Brazilian wish bracelet add the perfect chill factor. While men are often shy to accessorize, it is clear that this risk taker knows how to wrap it all up and tie in every element of his minty fresh ensemble.
Hint: If you’re all about the ‘go big or go home’ mentality, try these pants in mint to really stand out and take this popular trend one step farther.
