Once May comes around and school is just finishing up, I often want to dress down and still look great. Honestly my spring/summer casual go-to is either a black or white Calvin Klein V-neck complementing a pair of black slim fit Levi Brand Jeans paired with one of the many loafers I own. I personally believe clothing should all be worn in a slimmer fashion rather than baggy during the warmer months. There’s something special about dressing minimally regarding colors, as well as clothing, and being able to pull it off. Often accessories, such as a watch, do spice up outfits.
I caught this Fashionisto boarding on a Penny Board around campus. His outfit was super minimal, but I loved the contrast in colors; they meshed so well together. I also liked how he paired his slim fit black jeans with a pair of brown loafers— a fashion move that I would honestly have made myself. His outfit from head to toe consisted of a maroon beanie paired with a red and black T-shirt supporting the musicians of one of the local bands. His accessory that added so much glamour to finish off his outfit was his gold watch.
Hint: When trying to dress minimally during the spring and summer months, try to wear clothes that are tighter on your body. Not only do they create more appeal for the outfit as a whole, but it also looks crisp and not sloppy.
