When it comes to looking polished and put together with simply the basics channeling the Greasers from one of my all-time films, The Outsiders, leave it to this Fashionisto to make it work. He will be graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology this upcoming May, and he’s looking forward to taking the summer months off to travel through Europe. Backpacking, anyone?
Anyway, he sports comfortable Nike Freeruns 3.0, a bright pair of Feetures socks and a bright backpack to match. Don’t even get me started about this awesome quilted panel leather jacket! It is such a staple piece especially for this upcoming season which would probably last for several seasons to come. Not only can you wear it with absolutely everything – casual or dressy – but you instantly feel cooler and more confident strutting in one. I promise. I am about to pick up my own from Zara like these styles here or here. For the fall be sure to keep an eye out for the perfect leather jacket to spice up all of your more casual and laid-back looks.
You’re probably asking how does he make chic look so easy – that is because it is. Like many of us, he feels inspired by reading various street style blogs. Finding gems in this astronomically large sized blogging platform that has been emerging at full speed can be tricky. Camille Over the Rainbow and 5 Inch and Up are just some of his favorites. And it doesn’t stop there – he loves a good Model Off Duty look and follows closely after his good friend and mentor Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea – talented for composing looks for various distinguished brands and celebrities.
Hint: To channel your inner Greaser that I know sits in each and every one of you, add a fierce looking leather jacket and your trusty favorite T-shirt from Hanes. Oh and you want your hair to look this good? Try this.
