The week we all dread is finally here. The time has come to put away our themed party costumes, forget about going to happy hour, set the DVR to record our favorite programs for later watching and enter into the various libraries for the first time in weeks. Yes, the first test week of the new semester is upon us. Even the weather has turned sour, gone are the blissful days of outdoor play and relaxation, terrifying test week is here. Sure, the stresses of cramming information for your next test can be a little too much to handle at times, but library fashion is never in low demand here at Texas A&M. I spotted this Fashionisto making his way to the library, backpack and all, dressing perfectly for the questionable Texas weather and for his soon to be caffeine induced study session.
This trendy student is sure to make an A on his test sporting this comfortable functional outfit. Spending all day in the library that at any given time can be scorching hot or as cold as ice can be killer, so this Fashionisto uses his multiple layers to his ultimate advantage. The first layer of this studious look is a worn T-shirt, allowing effortless coziness and movement. He pairs the tee with a button-down chambray shirt. Chambray is the perfect material for all seasons, in the winter it can easily be paired with a peacoat or sweater keeping in warmth and in the summer it can be worn solo allowing light weight comfort. Finally he rounds out his top half with a black peacoat; a textbook winter item that is great for insulating all warmth possible on those rough walks to the library.
For his bottom half, this Fashionisto wears a straight-leg khaki pant. Khaki pants give any look a more put-together feel, while still giving the wearer plenty of movement. My favorite item is this Fashionisto’s leather bucks, that casually dawn his feet. Bucks can be worn dressed up with a slim cut dress pant or dressed down like this Fashionisto, completely rounding out his back to the library look!
Hint: Grab that notebook (typically used for finance) and take serious notes from this layered look worn by this Fashionisto. Grab your nearest flannel or casual button-down, throw it over that long-sleeve tee and head out the door. The books await!
