Since Labor Day was last week, it is officially the end of summer and the beginning of Autumn. Though this isn’t 100 percent true in Arizona, we still like to believe the hot summer days are coming to an end. Although I’m eager to have a cooler temperature, I never really understood “the no white after Labor Day” rule. You can find me sporting white during anytime of the year even if it is after Labor Day. Besides wearing white clothing, it is the start of being able to layer your clothing. This is the time of year were people can become more creative and fashion forward because they are able to layer multiple items in their closet to create an outfit.
I found this Fashionisto rocking both the color white as well as layers of clothing. The weather has been a bit unpredictable in Arizona lately with sunny days as well as overcast sporadic showers. With the unpredictable weather this Fashionisto was able to put together some light layers to accommodate the bipolar weather. With a tri-colored T-shirt he was able to separate the two denims. Though the denim shirt and jeans are two different colors the T-shirt added some pattern as well as neutralized the hardness of the denims. His dark gray oxfords kept his outfit classic, and even semi-formal, with his perfectly light layered outfit.
Hint: Start layering your clothes slowly and build it up as the seasons progress. Find clothes that can be layered but still form fitting.
