With my schedule filled with several three hour seminar classes (three to be exact), it’s hard to find myself feeling relaxed without having to worry about all my reading assignments and papers. Add my anxiety level on top of that, you have yourself stress-tini cocktail! For days like these, I find myself wanting to wind down and not care about what I wear… it’s actually really hard to find motivation to look nice when you have so much to do!
This Fashionisto embodies the relaxed look. Instead of wearing men’s slim jeans, he opts for a relaxed fit with a dark wash that is purposefully cuffed to look more clean cut. Comfortable? I think so! As for the beanie, this Fashionisto told me that the only reason he chose to wear it was because he had just recently had a battle between his hair and a pair of scissors that the barber was holding. Needless to say, his hair lost. Hence, the beanie! Regardless, I thought the beanie was a great touch to his relaxed fit especially since it was mixed with pieces that are a little more refined, like the chambray shirt and the fair isle sweater. Not only does this Fashionisto do fall 2013 well, he coordinates the perfect outfit for lazy, hazy days.
Hint: If you are looking to transition this outfit into the winter time, you could wear a pair of brown lace up boots from Red Wing Heritage and a pair of thick socks. As for a coat, you could try this one from A.P.C.
