Being that it’s after spring break at West Virginia University, I don’t think anyone is in the mind set that it’s still going to be a cold walk to class. Regardless if it snows again, everyone is still brainstorming for ideas to keep themselves warm without a coat (no matter how logical that sounds).
I love this Fashionisto because he incorporates a lot of the trends and styles that my fellow Style Gurus and I have spoken about up to this point of the spring 2014 semester. Therefore, out of Style Guru love, I wanted to break down this outfit with a sweet note: despite the warming temperatures, pull out the storage bins and tuck these winter essentials away! With a button-down, fair-aisle sweater and striped scarf, you never know when you’ll need each layer in itself.
This Fashionisto pulled his holiday sweater out for one more day. You have to admit, that’s more creative than the usual coat. I commend him on his originality and versatility. Remember, it is always important to get your money’s worth. If you have the chance to pull out your decorative sweater after the holidays, you’re probably thinking outside the box (which is great!).
What Style Guru could forget a childhood favorite from L.L.Bean. This Fashionisto is wearing bean boots that are know for their broken-in feel and classic lasting impression. Rain or shine: these boots can handle any weather condition.
Hint: Layer on top of a clean and crisp button-down. You want to be able to have comfortable transitions throughout the changing temperatures. Utilize the scarf you have in your closet. This Fashionisto’s layered look is a triple-threat with three corresponding patterns. Remember: don’t lose track of your around-the-year essentials. You never know when you will need to switch up your outfits up What better way to do so than to go shopping in your own closet?
