In the Western honey bee species, small swarms of killer bees are known to take over European honey bee hives by invading that hive and establishing it as their own –also, killing the queen bee. In the human species (particularly the fashion species) there is no difference. Fashionistas/os, designers, models, etc., constantly compete for that number one spot in demanding what new trend is going to dictate the world. In this case, there’s no competition. This killer bee Fashionisto has earned his crown as King Bee!
Standing a part from almost every Fashionisto who attended last weekend’s Fashion promo event, this buzzing gentleman broke a lot of necks. His domineering décor is nothing more than your everyday shirt, jeans and blazer. While many fashion junkies think it takes a trip to Bergdorf Goodman or a call to Ana Wintour herself to style a fashion party outfit, this Fashionisto looked no further than H&M. It’s beginning to seem like all my potential prospects are shopping at H&M lately (Those summer sales!)
This design student clearly knows what it takes to ‘stand out.’ Not like he needed any reassurance, but those mustard yellow denims were just screaming at me! The black H&M shirt against his black H&M blazer could have easily been worn with some khakis or dark colored denim jeans. It really takes a lot of courage to wear so much black in summer time, but when you’re as dapper as this Fashionisto, who really cares?! The brown ALDO boots were also a bold statement, but they really gave this outfit a more rugged look. The way he constructed such a simple outfit to make it look so sophisticated is a real accomplishment. He is literally ‘killing’ it!
Hint: Black blazers are a fashion MUST for all Fashionstas/os. Try not to always be on the safe side and be bold with a crazy pair of bottoms. If black is too hot for your summer wardrobe, opt for a colored blazer.
