Spring keeps peeking around every corner, and finally March is here to ring it in! With shivers and the chills slowly going away, everyone seems to be getting their last wears of sweaters and layers…until next winter. The best way to transition sweaters from winter to spring is to invest in some with non-neutral colors.
This Fashionisto chose to use the classic and always in style Fair Isle print to use as his main article but the not so classic colors give this sweater a personal flair and statement. Our Fashionisto chooses to tie his sweater and bottoms together with a matching accent color. The Fair Isle has a teal shade used in it, which is further drawn out in his jeans. Colored twill pants are a trend that seems to be sticking and becoming more of a staple article rather than a seasonal piece.
Accenting this outfit is the chambray collar peering from the neck of the sweater. Chambray is an all around crowd pleaser and can be thrown in here or there or really anywhere. This Fashioniso could have used chambray over the sweater for an accent but underneath is subtle and classy. Layering collared shirts under sweaters and tees is a great way to assure your outfit can handle any weather that is thrown at you.
A classic oxford can never do wrong, especially in a suede fabric. The light brown shade catches the eye without overpowering the Fair Isle color scheme but still dresses up a casual outfit.
It’s time to put away the snow boots and grab your lighter jackets because spring is finally approaching— even our wintery prints are revamping their color patterns to welcome it with open arms!
Hint: Try this sweater vest over a chambray for even warmer days!
