The end of November brings, along with some frightfully chilly days, a warm sort of yearning for the festivities yet to come. One of my favorite holidays of the year is undoubtedly Thanksgiving. As I write this, I can just taste the savory mashed potatoes, the light and buttery biscuits, and then of course, who can forget that deliciously warm apple pie. Aside from all of the delicious food, when I think of Thanksgiving, I am always reminded of the wide array of browns mixed with different fall colors. I love how all these different colors come together to create a beautiful mosaic of warmth. When I saw this particular Fashionisto walking out of class, I instantly fell in love with his outfit. The colors were reminiscent of fall and the whole outfit was very put together (sort of reminded me of Thanksgiving dinner!).
For his top, this Fashionisto chose to pair a jean shirt with a cozy grayish-brown sweater. The peeking collar was a great detail and definitely a clever layering decision to keep warm against the chilly wind on campus. He kept his bottoms “neutral,” rocking a pair of chocolate colored pants, a subtle contrast against his sweater. On top, he threw on a camel-colored coat with dark brown detailing. I love that he opted for a lighter rather than a darker colored coat because it definitely made him stand out.
What really made this outfit for me were all of the amazing accessories. Starting from the bottom, this Fashionisto chose to wear rugged brown boots. Next, he carried a Kenneth Cole light brown messenger bag, which matched perfectly with the rest of his outfit. He also rocked this bright red scarf that amounted for the perfect pop of color for his outfit. My two favorite accessories that he chose to rock were: his amazing brown hat (with the side feather detailing) and the ring that he told me his girlfriend had crafted especially for him!
Hint: I really enjoyed how well put together and unique this outfit was. If you’re ever in the mood for it, rock a suave hat; not only will it keep your head warm but it will definitely turn some heads!
