Snow, you’re soft and gorgeous as you are falling but once it is time to venture out into you it becomes a state of emergency! This is becoming such a snowy, harsh winter for most of the United States, but that never stops New Yorkers from going out and about. Since it is necessary to brave the whipping winds and the frosty temperatures, why not do it in style?
This Fashionisto was not afraid of combating the cold and showing the snow who is boss. To make sure that he remains warm and cozy while walking across campus he threw on this lovely camel colored peacoat with dark wooden fasteners, which is definitely la pièce de résistance (the star piece). It also has a hood to protect his head! This would indubitably save him from suffering from a head cold later that night. You can find a similar peacoat at J.Crew or for a cheaper alternative, Kohl’s.
Although the peacoat may possibly be the only thing that a person sees about his outfit that day due to the frigidity of outside, this Fashionisto did not let the rest of his outfit be anything less than greatness. Keeping with the neutral tones he pairs a simple pair of black jeans with a white button-up and a beige cable knit sweater as an extra layer of armor, letting the shirt peak out from underneath. To finish off the look this Fashionisto wears a pair of metallic gold Nikes, adding his final sprinkle of originality. If it’s snowing outside, don’t fret, put on your best armor and fight back!
Hint: Need to have semi-formal or formal attire, but not that much time to change? Just simply swap out the sneakers for a pair of boat shoes or loafers and replace the jeans for trousers and you are ready to hit up an interview or have a fancy dinner with your partner.
