It’s getting to that point in the semester when exams are starting to creep into your calendar. This means that you’re probably in the library studying more often than usual. While you may be tempted to wear sweatpants and a hoodie to study in, I advise that those be the last things you put on your body. When studying, you should wear something that helps you feel focused and determined. Wearing pajamas will only put you in a lazy and relaxed mentality, which is the exact opposite of what you need to feel when studying for exams.
I saw this Fashionisto strolling out of the library after a full afternoon of studying and I could tell that he definitely had the right mentality. He was wearing a simple royal blue V-neck from Target, beige Ralph Lauren chino shorts and blue Polo Ralph Lauren sneakers that matched his shirt perfectly. He also sported a black leather Citizen watch. Because this Fashionisto obviously put effort into coordinating his outfit, he automatically put himself in a determined mindset as soon as he walked out of his dorm.
I was definitely most in love with his bold blue shoes. A lot of guys would be too intimidated to wear such a bold color on their feet but this Fashionisto wore them confidently and successfully. To be confident when taking college exams, you have to be self-assured in how you feel on and leading up to exam day. Part of that is looking confident in your outfit. Do not let these first exams defeat you.
Hint: Try adding a three-quarter length sleeve henley shirt underneath your V-neck to add more layers and textures to your outfit, like this one from J.Crew. You will also be set if your library is as cold as UF’s.
