New York Fashion Week is like a holiday for those attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. It is the week when we all pull out our best of the best ensembles to attend shows. In between those shows we’ll be photographed by the paparazzi and see ourselves on the best-dressed list on Vogue.com – or at least I can see this happening to this Fashionisto. While studying Advertising and Marketing Communications, he writes his own style blog called The Metro Man and does freelance at the offices of GQ Magazine. It is pretty impressive how much one can handle on their plate while being a full-time student.
He wears a well-tailored gray blazer from H&M’s Conscious Collection over a striped Alenford shirt to keep it business causal. Making it less dressy with a pair of white skinnies from Zara (similar) and these awesome blue velvet Stubbs and Wootton slippers. Oh, and did I mention how fantastic these slippers are? I just really had to emphasize since I was so tempted to take them from him during our encounter. He pulls the look together with a fun graphic tote and a pair of structured shades. Easy and effortless.
I think all businessmen should have a good fashion sense. If you don’t agree, simply just talk to his slippers.
