It’s finally here — our last weeks of summer are now turning into our first days of the fall school semester. It’s an exciting and somewhat terrifying time as we attempt to memorize our new schedules and shell out money for our new textbook materials. With so much stress and constant running around, fashion may not be the first thing on your mind. However, you shouldn’t be afraid of bringing your style back to campus for the new semester. Though it may be scary to transition back into school life, changing into that fall wardrobe should be (relatively) easy and painless.
This Fashionisto was clearly prepared for the upcoming season, dressing for cooler temperatures and harsher winds than a summer breeze. He utilizes dark clothing shades, which hold in heat, and also represents some of his own unique style sense in his outfit. For example, his shirt bears the classic “hipster” message of “You’ve probably never heard of it,” illustrating some of his own personality.
The overlying add-ons are the aspect of his ensemble that really stand out, though. With the olive green shades of his beanie and scarf, this “too cool for summer” guy is prepared for when the leaves fall and the heat begins to fade. When you’re looking for warmer wardrobe to bring to your school closet, don’t forget the essential hat and scarf combination that while being practical for cold insulation can also make you the most put together guy in the classroom. Even the most simple beanies can enhance your fall look, and scarves ranging from short to waist length can add a kick of color when your outfit feels a little drab.
To top off his outfit, this hip dresser adds a vintage jacket found at a local thrift store, giving a medium color shade to divide the black shirt and the lighter gray jeans. While giving him just the right casual touch, it also is very useful when the skies turn colder and the seasons change.
Hint: For all of you boys with shorter hair, hats are essential fall gear to keep you from losing heat off the top of your head. However, why be boring about it? Add an interesting wide-brimmed fedora or trapper hat to liven up your look and keep yourself warm at the same time. Try out some different materials and color schemes and see how you can easily transform yourself from just another guy to the most stylish student on campus.
