Katy Perry said it best: “You’re hot then you’re cold, you’re yes than you’re no,” and although I don’t remember those lyrics belonging to a song titled “September Weather,” the line does seem to apply pretty accurately. Now that we've officially dipped into the fall season pool, we can obviously expect the sunlight to become progressively sparing and the days to become gradually colder. But nothing concerning weather is ever easy and thus I'm petitioning to the National Weather Service to add a fifth season called “Awkward, Too Cold for Lace, Too Hot for Fur.”
As convincing as I can be, there's little faith that this plead will actually be employed and so here I am to remind all you Fashionistas of the quite versatile and convenient accessory that's the printed scarf.
It doesn’t need to be said that the printed scarf is hands-down the most mobile-chic accessory. Perfect for chilly lectures or morning walks to class, you won't have to sacrifice an ounce of style while you stay warm. Animal print patterns and solid burgundy silks virtually go with any outfit and can be dressed up or down, making them two must-haves for fall.
Get this Fashionista’s look by snagging a leopard number like this one from ASOS, comfortable leggings, edgy aviators and classic black ballet flats. I’ll keep you posted on my progress with the NWS until next time.
