I’m on a complete fringe binge. Whether the fringe is represented through '20s-inspired flapper dresses or bohemian/western accessories, the art of fringing adds drama and action to any outfit. The tricky thing about fringe, however, is it can borderline tacky or tasteful. No worries though, not only is this Fashionisto’s footwear everything a moccasin should be and more, but the swinging trim on the back of the boot is subtle yet the best part of the shoe.
Native Americans dawned the fringed-moccasin long before Missoni, Gucci and Roberto Cavalli interpreted the embellishment for their spring 2012 collections. One of the greatest things about the fringed-moccasin is its relaxed yet put together look that’s great for class. This Fashionisto is dressed in a pair of Minnetonka Mocassins perfect for everyday wear.
Spotted: Balmain does a great job every season making rustic seem chic, especially in his latest menswear line.
