Not only did her fabulous hair make stop me in my tracks, but her fantastic easy-going outfit gave me a complete feeling that this Fashionista would be a perfect candidate for this week’s Fashionista Spotlight.

CollegeFashionista: When you walk out the door, what is the first thing you grab?
Shayna Marie: Sneakers! Any kind of sneakers, really. They are so comfortable and I often think I wear them too much!
CF: Your jacket has a lot of details. Tell us more about your concept and how you add such detail to your outfits.
SM: I never like for any part of my clothing to be boring. Therefore, I added some patches to this army jacket, to give it more personality. Every opportunity that I have to add something new to an article of clothing, I always take the challenge.
CF: If you could describe your outfit in 3 words, what would they be?
SM: Versatile, creativity and unpredictable. One day I’d look like a tomboy; the next, like a hipster; and the following, completely boho. It all depends on how I feel.
How To: You can capture Shayna’s chill and hip look by purchasing a jacket and attaching patches that match your personality. You can do this with a simple needle and thread. Finish the outfit with solid color leggings and sneakers or your choice of boots.
