We’re starting to enter the dormant months of winter here in South Bend. As our T-shirts turn into parkas and our sandals are put away to make room for our boots, we also go from celebrating the vibrant colors of the summer and fall to favoring the neutral blandness of blacks, grays and not-so-riveting browns. Winter is great, winter is grand, but I miss my color.

The tangerine in her necklace complimented the warm tones in her sweater and boots while providing contrast against the blue in her denim. Whether you’re running to class or meeting up with friends at lunch, a statement necklace should be in every Fashionista’s arsenal. Pair bold colors with neutral shirts or mix different textures by wearing metallic pieces to create more dimension to your outfit.
