Looks like I caught a blue eyed minx! This Fashionista paired her makeup with her beautiful blue eye colour. Although her natural eyes look gorgeous without any makeup, she added a little navy liner and jet black mascara to play up her features. Knowing what beauty features to focus on can really create a superb look like this Fashionista. Rather than overdoing it, playing up your eyes, lips or skin is better than creating a drag queen effect. We all remember our first experiment with make up, typically blue eye shadow and pink Chapstick, which is not the look we are going for when using blue eye makeup.
Pencil versus liquid liner — is there a winner? You decide. Personally, I’m on team liquid liner. It seems to stay on all day for me better than pencil, which tends to rub off on the top of my eyelids. If you use a brush to apply your liner, you will be interested to learn about this newest trend, the bent brush. It gives you a constant straight application! Fantastic for creating a cat eye. And if you’re really brave (which I know all of you blue eyed gals are) blue mascara is fun to wear. It is noticeable but people don’t really know that your mascara is blue and no one will be able to nail what it is.
Lastly, I have to comment on her coral pants. These were all the rage over the summer and I think I might sneak wearing my coloured pants a few times over the coming winter by pairing them with a knit sweater or something similar for a winterized version. Jeans are a staple but these add a little spice to our usual monochrome outfits.
