I am a 20-year-old college junior from New Hampshire with a fondness for fashion and photography. I am a Communications major and Visual Arts minor at Fordham University, as well as a member of the women’s track and cross country teams. This semester will mark my first as CollegeFashionista’s marketing intern and sixth as Fordham’s style guru. As I continue to work with the site and witness its growth, I not only have the privilege of expanding upon my own style, but I also have the opportunity to be inspired by those we feature.
My wardrobe may best be described as a smorgasbord of feminine and feel-good pieces mixed with classic cuts: ballet flats, blazers and t-shirts dominate most of my closet space. As a college student in New York City I am constantly learning how to personalize the current trends in an affordable way. Any window display-worthy outfit can be achieved with resourcefulness and creativity. Every era and genre of fashion has something to offer and by transforming the old and embracing the new, one can transform an everyday ensemble into a truly unique piece of art.
To give and receive inspiration is an opportunity to be valued and by sharing the charisma and creativity of the CollegeFashionistas at Fordham I hope to instill this same appreciation in our readers.
