I spotted this Fashionista on my first day back for the spring semester while she was on her way to her first class of the day. And I have to admit it: I am a sucker for all things black. I think the color is chic and simple. Especially when you are running out the door for a class that starts at 9 a.m.. This Fashionista topped off her all-black ensemble with a cream infinity scarf that really pops against the black and gives the outfit a fresh feel. My favorite part of her outfit though? Her little black purse.

Nicole Faracca: My boots are from Forever 21. My leggings, shirt and scarf are all from H&M. My sweater is Old Navy and my purse is from Urban Outfitters.
CF: How would you describe your style?
NF: I would say simple. I wear a lot of neutrals and black. And I am a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl.
CF: What are some of your favorite places to shop?
NF: Probably Forever 21 and H&M. I like that their clothes are on trend while being in my college-sized budget. But in a dream world all of my clothes would be from J.Crew.
CF: Favorite item in your wardrobe lately?
NF: My winter leggings. I wear them more than I would like to admit.
CF: If you could switch closets with one person, who would it be?
NF: I would say Kendi from Kendi Everyday. Seriously, the girl couldn’t be any cuter. I would call her style simple like mine, but I love the way she combines unexpected colors and patterns. And I wish I had the guts to do her 30X30 Remix where she chooses 30 items from her closet and only wears those items for 30 days. But I would need her closet if I ever did that.
How To: Want to recreate her ensemble? It’s simple, much like her outfit. First grab a black coat, like this one from ASOS. Then throw on a pair of leggings like this pair from Target with this polka-dot shirt from Forever 21. Add your riding boots – this is a great pair from Urban Outfitters (and they are leather) – along with a cream scarf to pop against your all black outfit, like this one from Forever 21. Finally, add a cute little black bag from Urban Outfitters for a chic touch. If you are a lover of color and want to add some to this all black ensemble my suggestion would be to add a fun scarf, like this one from Forever 21 or a colorful purse, I personally adore this one from Forever 21 to add a pop of color. And if you are really bold, try pairing this ensemble with a fun pair of red jeans, like this pair from Old Navy or even try an on trend pair of cords from J.Crew.
