The fashion world made a bold move this season by allowing a religious symbol to take center stage within fashion trends — the cross. While Christians are supportive of the use of this religious symbol, what about everybody else? Is the fashion industry trying to promote Christianity? While these are all important questions, they’re questions for another time. Whether you’re a Christian or not, this trend is all the rage. Crosses are hitting stores everywhere, and they’re hitting them hard.
So how exactly do you rock a cross, you ask? Well, to be honest, there really are no rules with this trend! From cross shirts, sweaters and leggings, to cross jewelry, decals and cutouts, it’s safe to say you can find a cross on just about anything, and wear it with just about anything! However, I will say this — rock this trend in moderation. You can wear crosses as often as you’d like, but wear too many combinations of crosses at one time and you might start to overdo this trend. Try to keep it to a minimum of one or two crosses per outfit.

This week’s featured Fashionista shared my love of crosses and obviously fashion! Sporting her cross necklace and bracelet with a pink sweater, blue jeans and combat boots, she successfully mastered simplicity with just the right amount of accessorizing!
