I'm so happy to continue writing and style spotting for CollegeFashionista and the eyes of the fashion savvy Fashionistas/os out there! This summer I will be contributing to the Internship Fashionista column. I'm based in New York City interning in the fashion department at Town & Country magazine. I witness amazing style daily at Hearst, which houses some of the most coveted magazines of many Fashionistas/os across the globe. I can't wait to share with readers the incredibly unique and trendy looks I see daily, and I'm excited to know these photos will inspire your wardrobe and daily outfit choices.
My personal style is very colorful and I aim for a very girly yet tough look daily. I love a full skirt or dress and to toughen it up I’ll throw on a leather jacket and a few of my favorite edgy jewelry pieces. I’m drawn to jewelry that has the effect of hardware or something with a creepy factor, my favorite being my skull head bracelet from House of Wadjet. I’m also very inspired by the gracefully fierce heroines in my favorite books, as well as the features on the pages of my favorite magazines.
I believe in constantly evolving and the love we all share, which is fashion, grows larger and develops every single day right along with us. I hope this summer as you read and admire the street style that we Style Gurus contribute, you are fearless in your remix of each look and you also allow yourself to step out of your comfort zone and try something new that you never thought you could pull off!
