Goop is looking for organized, motivated interns to join us in our Santa Monica office for the Summer 2017 semester. This is an unpaid internship for school credit only. Candidates must commit to at least 2-3 full days per week (2 alternating interns) in our Santa Monica office.
The Fashion Internship program offers enrolled students a hands-on experience on the fashion team of a digital lifestyle publication. Fashion Interns are responsible for checking fashion and accessory samples in and out of the closet by photographing them and logging them into our online sample trafficking database. They will be given tons of on-set experience for e-commerce and editorial shoots steaming samples, organizing looks, and assisting the on-set Stylist with dressing and styling the models. Additionally, Fashion Interns will have the opportunity to research market for site content and surround themselves with all the inner-workings of a bustling digital company via our small but diverse office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare market research on brands and styles that align with the brand
- Support editorial team with story planning and affiliate links
- Support fashion team during editorial and ecommerce photo-shoots
- Support social media team with Pinterest boards and Instagram images
- Liaise with brands and track samples
- General office tasks and operations
Requirements:
- Flexible, self-starting attitude
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once and to prioritize
- Excellent time management skills (works well on a deadline)
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Passionate about all things fashion
- Strong knowledge of the goop brand
