Goop is looking for organized, motivated interns to join their team in the Santa Monica office for the Fall 2017 semester. This is an unpaid internship for school credit only. Candidates must commit to at least 2-3 full days per week (2 alternating interns) in the Santa Monica office.
The Beauty Internship program offers enrolled students hands-on experience understanding the magic behind creating beauty products from concept to development and commercial execution. Additionally, Beauty Interns will have the opportunity to gain industry experience and surround themselves with all the inner-workings of a bustling startup company via a small but diverse office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management (will learn the product development process for beauty products)
- Track and log formula submissions and samples
- Maintain library of packaging samples
- Conduct market research on competitive brands
- Help review packaging copy and artwork
- Financials
- Support beauty team with pricing and cost of goods analysis
- General office tasks and operations
- Support beauty team tracking purchase orders and inventory
Requirements:
- Flexible, self-starting attitude
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once and to prioritize
- Excellent time management skills (works well on a deadline)
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Passionate about all things Beauty
- Strong knowledge of the goop brand
