WHAT TO WEAR: Traveling

What to Wear

Spring break is around the corner! Where will you be traveling in a few days? Will you wander in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, enjoying the beautiful art, or will you dive in the Pacific Ocean with a school of fish? I know Fashionistas can’t wait to flee from their midterms and to finally have a break from school. Before you start your vacation time, though, make an effort to be dressed fit for your destination. A trip typically can’t avoid traveling in a small space for transportation–no matter whether you drive seven hours to New York City or you fly five hours across the country. Thus, the first to-do on your travel checklist is to dress comfortably and try not to look like a slob in the car or on the plane.

It seemed as though this Fashionista was ready to kick off a great trip. Her outfit had enough comfort and an excellent sense of chicness. An oversized sweater, with a pair of leggings, is always a reliable go-to outfit for traveling. However, Fashionistas know how to tweak their ensembles and make themselves stand out. This Fashionista smartly tied a crystal bow over her oversized sweater. A girly touch, like her bow, simply created a stunning silhouette. She received extra style points for her eye-popping jacinth-colored scarf and indigo blue wool hat. Her scarf could unfold and act as a blanket, too. Polish your look with a pair of riding boots, or, like this Fashionista, with a stylish pair of over-the-knee boots.

One Simple Change: Simply substitute the riding boots for a pair of classic Hunter boots to complete a rainy day look.
