STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Keep Your Wardrobe Alive!

Style Advice of the Week

Along with the season change comes a color palette change. Usually, we tend to let go of our brighter summer fabrics to let darker fall and winter clothes into our closets, but if we aren’t careful, we just may let winter neutrals kill our closets. This Fashionista is doing a great job keeping her neutrals alive. She has paired a winter white Cynthia Rowley sweater with black skinny jeans. To jazz her outfit up a bit, she has topped the look off with a cheetah print scarf, matching stackable bracelets and bright blue flats from Express.

Love this look? I do too! This Fashionista is doing everything just right. Her outfit is one that can transition easily from the mild fall days into chilly nights. She also has used her accessories just right by having enough to add depth to her outfit, but not take away from the neutral sweater and jeans. This look can easily be achieved on a variety of budgets, but if you’re like me, the less expensive the better. Try this grey cable knit turtle neck sweater from Forever 21 with a pair of denim skinny jeans you already have. For “pop,” add these yellow studded flats from Aldo and some stackable bracelets from Urban Outfitters. If you want to add a scarf this “Indigo Nights” scarf from Francesca’s Boutique is perfect! Still not in your price range? Other great stores to find these items for less are H&M, Target, local boutiques, the sale section in your favorite department store and thrift stores.
