On cold winter days at Denison the most important thing to get by the day are layers and the perfect pair of all weather boots. I spotted this Fashionista looking chic in the cold weather while still staying true to her laid-back style.
Name: Zoë Drazen
Major: English
Year: Junior
CollegeFashionista: How would you describe your style?
Zoë Drazen: It's hard to describe my style with a specific word. I actually find shopping painfully boring so I tend to be impulsive and just pick out whatever catches my eye, and hope it fits well. It depends on the season, but I'd say my style is generally low-key and earthy colors. Lots of boots too.
CF: Where do you get your style inspirations?
ZD: I don't follow fashion blogs or anything, but I do have three very well dressed older sisters. So my inspiration has come from their closets a lot.
CF: What are you looking forward to wearing this fall and winter?
ZD: This winter, I am looking forward most to wearing big sweaters and boots. Those are my two favorite things to wear, plus they are the warmest.
How To: To get this Fashionista’s look start off by getting a classic pea coat. Pea coats can be found in any store this time of year, but a good option is a short military style jacket from Zara or the classic pea coat from Club Monaco. You cannot complete this Fashionista’s outfit without her boots. The boots are the iconic L.L. Bean Boots, but if you are looking for something a little different I recommend looking at the Hunter Brixen Boot.
