Despite the rather surprising early heat wave that struck New England through the first couple weeks of March, the weather has been pretty chilly all through April. I personally enjoy longer periods of cooler weather in the springtime because of my very strong love for cozy accessories, and I have definitely taken advantage of these brisk April days to showcase this love! When I spotted this Fashionista walking outside of UCONN’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences building, I knew that I had found a another fan of cold weather accessories.
One of my favorite looks that has been incredibly popular this past season was the pairing of shorts with tights and a cute pair of shoes. The Fashionista that I ran into is a prime example of how adorable and stylish this look can be. Starting off with a sexy black lace shirt paired with a nicely contrasting red boyfriend cardigan, the Fashionista adds in a tights-and-shorts combo that makes the outfit truly unique. She then adds her own personality through accessory choices. She picked out a very cute pair of light brown lace-up oxfords, a warm patterned scarf, a long gold necklace and a large pair of sunglasses. This Fashionista truly works her look right down to her very tightly-encased toes.
Tighten things up in your own looks this week, Fashionistas. There are only so many more weeks that wearing this totally awesome look will be possible, and I suggest that you take full advantage of it!
