Dressing down is a college student’s best friend. Being a full time student and Fashionista can become quite complex, but dressing up a “dress down” look is a great way to save valuable time. Throwing on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt will always be convenient when rushing to that early morning class. You can never go wrong with a casual ensemble, but it is the accessories that will set you aside from the rest of the student body. A T-shirt and pair of jeans are timeless, but it will be that eye catching accessory that will get you noticed.
A dressed down look is a great way to make your accessory pop. Anything from a necklace to a pair of shoes will suffice, but an exclusive handbag will do wonders to your casual look. On a sunny afternoon, I spotted this Fashionista sporting a leather jacket, T-shirt, jeans and a Yankees hat. Her outfit screams “laid back,” but it is her leather and brown bag that clearly wants all of the attention. The brown accent color on the strap collaborated perfectly with her brown colored boots as well as the leather material with her leather jacket.
The look should appear complete when pairing it with a handbag. By capturing the many elements of your outfit, the handbag should pull it all together. An accessory should always complement your look and never downgrade. Don’t forget, a great outfit cannot be whole without an exclusive bag to match!
