STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: One Last Call for Maxi Dresses!

With winter just around the corner, everyone has been running around trying to get new boots and a new trench coat along with fall scarves. However, this Fashionista knows that it isn't just about the season it's all about the weather!

This loop of 80 degree weather that we've had for the past few days here in Michigan has brought back all the summer trends, even if just for a few days. This Fashionista took advantage of those few days and wore a long maxi dress with gold embellished jewelry. Her braided brown leather sandals flowed perfectly with her braided golden band and gold tone watch. All Fashionistas should be mindful of season changes, however when mother nature is handing you a free pass to summer you should definitely take it, which is what this Fashionista did on a beautiful day in October.

A great way to accent a maxi dress is with a braided belt, such as the one shown here, or even with a simple scarf around your neck. If you are petite be sure to wear long necklaces instead of short collar necklaces since the longer ones tend to balance out the midpoint of your body making you seem taller.
