It’s not everyday when you see a boy walking down the street with a unique hairstyle. Even more rare, is when his hairstyle makes you want to change yours. This Fashionisto’s hairdo made me want to do just that. Now, I’m not trying to imitate his exact look. I don’t think short hair like this is look for me, but the concept of changing it up excited me. This Fashionisto made me realize that my hair doesn’t need to just sit on top of my head, but can be an element of my personal style and a defining one at that.
It’s no secret that this Fashionisto has good taste. Surprisingly today in Savannah wasn’t a ridiculously hot one and he took advantage of that. With his light cardigan and plaid button-down, he defies the rules of dressing according to season. If it’s cool enough to wear a sweater, why not wear a sweater. Soak it up while you can, right? Even though his outfit was enough to get me to turn my head, the hairdo that he was sporting was what really caught my attention. Not only did it just fit him, but also it was something that I haven’t seen around that much. It made me stop and admire for a minute. It was cut shorter on the sides, but full of volume at the top with an interesting swoop to it.
You can think of your hairstyle in the sense that you would the shirt out of your closet, which one am I going to choose today? It can add to your look, just like it did to this Fashionisto’s. It can be unique and different than everyone else’s.
To imitate this look, try using some wax gel like Redken’s Maneuver Working Wax, this will help you style your hair in different ways. Try a bunch of different styles too.
