FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT: Natalie Diaz

Fashionista Spotlight

Happy Halloween Fashionistas! On this spooky holiday, we find ourselves surrounded by visions of ghosts and goblins. You may even be curled up on the couch hiding beneath a blanket as you watch a scary movie. Well, the only thing scary about this week's Fashionista is how stylish she looks!

Senior Natalie Diaz put a fresh spin on the ever-present maxi style by showcasing a little leg. The slit up the right side is super refreshing and edgy while still leaving plenty to the imagination. The cut also gives the skirt an asymmetrical flair that works perfectly with the recent breezy weather.

This Fashionista's solid light grey tank and denim shirt make the look appropriate for class, but she maintains structure by tying the shirt at her torso. To finish off the look, she slipped into a cute pair of sandals, a classic gold watch and a chunky turquoise-and-black necklace that ties the outfit together.

Name: Natalie Diaz

CollegeFashionista: How would you describe your style?

Natalie Diaz: I would say my style is trendy but occasionally lazy.

ND: Miami's style is unique because we don't really have seasons so we can wear shorts and tanks pretty much year round.

CF: What is one fashion item you can't live without?

ND: One fashion item I can't live without are tall brown boots—they are a staple in my closet!
