FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT: Sarah Frost

Fashionista Spotlight

Spring is here, and boy, have we been ready for it! This week was full of gorgeous sunny skies in the mid-70s — almost SoCal weather status — and everyone was out flaunting their bright pastel colors, floral-patterned skirts, dresses and short shorts.

Name: Sarah Frost

Major: History

Year: Freshman

CollegeFashionista: I love your black skirt — midi length skirts are so chic right now — where did you get it?

Sarah Frost: This skirt is from ASOS. I love the chiffon overlay and the length; it’s not as heavy as a full-length skirt while still being long. I paired it with a silver leotard from Anthropologie. There's a good contrast between the form-fitting top and loose, flowing skirt.

CF: How would you characterize your style?

SF: Comfortable, neutral, and sweater-ful.

CF: What influences your style?

SF: I am inspired by people I see on the street, clothing I find in thrift shops and my best friend!

CF: Where are your favorite places to shop?

SF: Anthropologie, Madewell, ASOS and random thrift shops.

CF: What is one accessory you can't live without?

SF: My trusty Canon ae1! Right now I'm loving my MAC Lipstick in Lady Danger, too.

How To: Style a chic, trendy, mid-length flowing black skirt in the advent of beautiful weather.
