One of my favorite trends lately has been incorporating studs into an outfit, whether it be part of the clothing or as an accessory. This Fashionista was caught strolling the streets of Downtown Oxford pulling this look off perfectly.
Her Sparkle and Fade top from Urban Outfitters has stud detailing on the collar which makes her office-inspired cut-off blouse more playful and age appropriate. This top is amazing because it can be worn on so many occasions. This Fashionista chose to wear it with her casual, day-time look, but it could be worn for a night out or even in the office when paired with a blazer and tucked into a pencil skirt. For her look, however, this Fashionista wore a pair of ripped Blank NYC jeans tucked into her favorite Minnetonka fringe moccasin boots. As for accessories, she kept it simple with her cross-body Perlina New York purse, which she purchased at T.J. Maxx.
This Fashionista looks stunning in this outfit and she explained to me that she often incorporates studs into many of her outfits. One of her favorite pair of shoes are a pair of nude flats that are covered in silver spikes and studs, and she wears her spike earrings almost every day. I know that I'm definitely saving up for these Oliver Stud Boots from NASTY GAL for the upcoming winter months, and I cannot wait to incorporate this trend into my other looks as fall continues on. I am also in love with this BDG studded Denim Button-Down shirt because the studs on the back make this every day Fashion staple all the more edgy. Every Fashionista should be trying this trend this season as studs appear in stores everywhere. Whether you cover your outfit in studs or just have a hint, you are sure to wow any passerbyers. For those Fashionistas who enjoy DIY projects, you can definitely have some fun adding some studs to the pockets of your favorite jeans or jean jacket, and you can purchase these studs at Michael's or any other craft store. There is no limit to what you can create, and your look will be a hit no matter how you choose to rock this trend.
