GUEST BLOGGER FEATURE: Fashion CHALET

This month's guest blogger is the vision and face of FashionCHALET, Erika Marie. There are a ton of things about Erika and her blog that I love and find noteworthy. Here are my top three:

1. Her incredibly long brown locks are dynamite. No matter how much I try to maintain healthy hair, there's no way mine will ever be as long and glam as hers.

2. We share a similar obsession with Audrey Hepburn (the original Fashionista) and the movie Breakfest at Tiffanys.

3. She loves a good pair of wedges and has a tasteful collection of them. Sometimes wedges can be too dramatic, but she always manages to execute her wedges in a sophisticated manner.

Check out my interview with the notorious FashionCHALET, Erika:

CollegeFashionista: Where did you attend college and what was the fashion like there

FashionCHALET: I attended College in Florida/Miami. And the fashion was non existent. Shorts, tanks and flip flops. Jeans and graphic tees with sneakers... or just plain sweats. I always felt like I stood out (except on the rainy days where I dressed down). I like standing out though, fashion is about creating an identity and it's empowering to me.

CF: Your personal style in college in three words

FC: Minimal, easy and layers

CF: Must have item in any Fashionista's wardrobe for fall

FC: Ankle boots, chunky knit wrap sweaters, floppy hats

CF: Biggest influence on your fashion choices

FC: The Olsen sisters, Vanessa Traina and Alexa Chung

CF. Favorite thing about being a fashion blogger

FC: Learning about myself, preferences, and making lasting friendships

CF. Best advice for a college student on a budget

FC: Don't be a snob. It may take some patience and a bit of an eye, but shopping anywhere can truly have its hidden gems.

Add it to your blog roll and style stalk FashionCHALET daily! What better way to get inspired then by someone else's fashion choices? Thanks Erika for the interview!

Style On,

Amy Levin
