Fashionisto Spotlight

The leaves have finally turned, yet the weather still hasn't changed much. This means that during the day we are lucky if the temperature stays below 70 degrees. However, this hasn't stopped students from wearing their favorite items for the season. I found this Fashionisto doing just that while munching on his favorite snack.

Name: William Nevarez

Year: Freshman

Major: Aerospace Engineering

CollegeFashionista: What are you wearing today?

William Nevarez: Today I wore my RayBans, vintage Levi jacket, blue oxford from American Apparel, J. Crew belt, Levi kakis and Clarks desert boots. Nothing fancy.

CF: What influences your style?

WN: I prefer classic styles, and neutral colors, Mike Hranica really influences my style as well as Anchor Division. Honestly it’s just intuition. I wear what I like and what I feel looks good.

CF: What do you plan on buying for the season?

WN: Probably a pair of wing tips, not exactly sure on the color though, and some Mark McNairy cargo pants.

How to: Simply wear your favorite items over and over this season. This will give them a natural worn in feeling and look. Boots and Levi jackets can be found in just about any thrift store. The secret of this season is to shop on a budget. It seems to be a growing trend among students. Make sure to add gummy bears or your favorite snack to complete the look.
